Hello my friend! Do you agree with this statement?
Design Directors and Sr. Product Designers are in essence, busy people.
Stay cool. I won’t take up your time.
I’m Lau Yamazaki and we will have a Portfolio Presentation this Thursday.
Let me ask you something:
Hiring processes take up a significant amount of time in your agenda, don’t they?
Our lovely recruiters performs the miracle of only bringing candidates who are already in line with the job description for your evaluation. However, it remains a difficult task to find that missing piece of the puzzle in 1.5-hour (each) portfolio presentations.
I know that. As an entrepreneur, I’ve been in this position before.
Most of them are not prepared to take on certain positions or do not have the skills that companies demand to be part of their high-performance teams. There is a large gap in professionals with experience and maturity that the market cannot fill.
It’s not only about well-painted pixels or lack of understanding the “whys” you’re using one methodology.
It’s about the “problem-solving fit” professional.
I want you to also get to know me for what I have to offer.
Not just for what I’ve done so far.
That’s why I bring you some additional information to read before the portfolio presentation or after, according to your convenience and availability.
Grab your favorite drink (I suggest tea) and take a few minutes to read some things I want to share with you, but that would take too much time during the portfolio presentation and distract from the technical interview.
Just few minutes. From Designer to Designer.
